Policy

We love hosting exciting competitions and giveaways at Bites & Beats NZ to show appreciation to our community! Here's the fine print that applies to our social media competitions.

Eligibility

• Entrants must be 18 years or over.
• Entrants must be a New Zealand resident, unless otherwise specified.
• Employees of Avid Leisure Limited (trading as Bites & Beats NZ), their families, and the competition organisers are not eligible to enter.

How to enter

• Follow the entry instructions provided in each competition post.
• Each person can only enter once unless otherwise stated.
• All entries must be received by the stated deadline — late entries will not be accepted.

Competition period

Each competition runs within the timeframe stated in the post. We reserve the right to modify or extend the competition period at our discretion.

Selection of winner

• Winners are usually selected at random from all eligible entries.
• Winners are announced within 48 hours via social media or direct contact.
• Prizes must be claimed within 7 days or they may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.

Prizes

• Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
• If a prize becomes unavailable, we may substitute it with one of equivalent value.
• Any costs associated with claiming or using a prize are the winner's responsibility.

General conditions

• Any attempt to tamper with entries will result in disqualification.
• We accept no liability for lost, late, or invalid entries.
• By entering, participants consent to reasonable publicity involving their name and image.
