Bites & Beats Social Media Competition Policy

We love hosting exciting competitions and giveaways at Bites & Beats NZ to show appreciation to our community! To keep everything fair and fun, we ask that all participants follow the guidelines outlined below. By entering any of our competitions, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Eligibility

1. Age: Entrants must be at least 18 years old.

2. Location: Competitions are open to residents of New Zealand unless otherwise specified in the competition post.

3. Exclusion: Employees of Avid Leisure Limited (trading as Bites & Beats NZ), their immediate family members, or anyone involved in running the competition are not eligible to enter.

How to Enter

1. To participate, follow the entry instructions outlined in the specific competition post. Entries that do not comply with the instructions will be disqualified.

2. Each person can only enter once unless otherwise stated.

3. Entries must be submitted by the stated deadline. Late entries will not be accepted.

Competition Period

1. Each competition will start and end at the times indicated in the post.

2. Bites & Beats NZ reserves the right to change or extend the competition period at any time.

Selection of Winner

1. Random Draw: Unless otherwise stated, winners will be chosen at random from all eligible entries.

2. Announcement: The winner(s) will be announced within 48 hours of the competition closing via our social media channels and/or contacted directly.

3. Claiming Prizes: Winners must respond within 7 days of the announcement or risk forfeiting the prize. An alternate winner may then be selected.

Prizes

1. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash or other items.

2. Bites & Beats NZ reserves the right to substitute the prize with an item of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.

3. Any additional costs associated with claiming or using the prize (e.g. travel, accommodation, food, or other expenses) are the responsibility of the winner.

General Conditions

1. Bites & Beats NZ reserves the right to disqualify any entry or participant found tampering with the competition or violating these terms.

2. We are not responsible for entries lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, or otherwise invalid.

3. By entering, participants agree to take part in any reasonable publicity related to the competition, including having their name and/or image shared on our social media channels.

Data Protection

1. We value your privacy. By entering, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information for the purpose of administering the competition.

2. Your data will not be shared with third parties or used for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

Disclaimer

1. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or any other social media platform.

2. Avid Leisure Limited (trading as Bites & Beats NZ) reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms without notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances or legal/regulatory requirements.
